Lamborghini has just unveiled its new range-topper, the Revuelto, the world's first V12 plug-in hybrid. With 1,001 horsepower from a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine and three electric motors, this masterpiece from the Italian automaker is sure to get heads turning. With an eight-speed DCT automatic gearbox, this beast of a car can go from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and reportedly reach a top speed of more than 219 mph. Named after a Spanish fighting bull that had an epic battle in Barcelona in August 1880, the Revuelto has been given the appropriate name of "unruly."
In addition to its powerful powertrain, the Revuelto sports a new aeronautics-inspired chassis 10% lighter than the outgoing Aventador's underpinnings and is made from carbon fiber. It has an all-new 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen interface, an homage to the V12 at the rear and even a sustainability-friendly interior with 70 color options made up of leather and Corsa-Tex fabric.
The Revuelto's exterior is bound to be a head-turner with its signature Y-shape daytime running lights and a rear wing that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. With multiple driving modes and personalization options, this new Lamborghini is sure to make its ancestors proud.
